State Healthcare Quality Snapshots

An interview with AHRQ Director Doctor Carolyn Clancy about the State Snapshots Web tool. The data in the tool are taken from the 2005 National Healthcare Quality Report and the National Healthcare Disparities Report.

This audio program features current news and information from the U.S. Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ).

In January, AHRQ released the 2005 National Healthcare Quality Report and the National Healthcare Disparities Report. These reports gave the overall picture of healthcare quality in the nation. AHRQ has just released a new Web tool that breaks down the full reports into state-specific reports called State Snapshots. This program features interviews with AHRQ Director Doctor Carolyn Clancy and Dr. Dwight McNeil, lead architect for State Shapshots, discussing the new health care quality reporting tool.
